Induction to UniSQ's Safety Management System

As part of the site access process, contractors will also be inducted into UniSQ’s Safety Management System, including:

 • Understanding responsibilities under UniSQ’s WHS framework
 • An overview of UniSQ’s health, safety and wellbeing procedures
 • How to report incidents, hazards, and near misses using Safetrak
 • Accessing emergency procedures and safety documentation 

Some of this information is also outlined throughout this handbook, including sections on Risk Management, Incident Reporting, and Emergency Management. Contractors are encouraged to review these sections carefully and seek clarification from their Contract Engager or Project Manager if needed.

This induction ensures contractors are equipped to meet UniSQ’s safety expectations and legislative obligations. The Contract Engager or Project Manager will coordinate this process and provide support as needed
