High-Risk Work

All High risk works that are identified (working at heights, deep excavation, etc) within WHS legislation require a higher level of due diligence. This means the worker must provide adequate licencing and safety plans to the project officer on behalf of UniSQ. Certain High risk task will require a Permit and this should be checked with the Project Officer.

If certain high risk work is to be undertaken near hazardous areas (UniSQ substations, fume cupboards and biohazard labs) workers must obtain explicit permission from the local area employees (lab technicians, Facilities Management supervisors)
